We just had the best family afternoon! Yoga for mom, backyard games and trampoline for the kids, while dad relaxed on the deck and took it all in. The autumn breeze called us to the lakeside where we climbed the rocks, watched the waves, and walked the gorgeous shoreline. Historic Old Town was next on our list, so we had to visit our favourite ice cream place – Il Gelato di Carlotta. We adore their vegan dark chocolate. How good is it on a scale of one to ten? One million! No, ten million! We saw the horse-drawn carriages and flower displays, and had a little taste at The Exchange Brewery before the kids played at the playground in Simcoe Park. Such a gorgeous day to bike, so we took a quick ride to Ironwood Cider House, Palatine, and Strewn for a couple sips. Dinner was on Ruffinoβs patio, complete with the most adorable checkered tablecloths and chianti-bottle candle holders. Kids love their spaghetti and meatballs! Topped it all off with a golden hour toast in the vineyard next door. Every adventure ends with the best moment, coming home. – Daya.
