Sure, summer is half over, but I’m still celebrating every Niagarans favourite time of year — patio season! Luckily, if you’re in Niagara, there are many spots that hold beautiful scenery and entertainment that will have you wishing the warm weather would stay all year long. I’ve put together a list of my top patios I love to check out with clients, family, and friends.
Oast House Brewers
Niagara-On-The-Lake’s very own unique Oast House Brewers has Tide & Vine on site for amazing patio dining. Opened last year, this patio has quickly become a Niagara favourite, with views into the neighbouring vineyards and tasty brews on tap. Beer not your thing? Check out the Niagara Nag, Oast’s twist on the traditional Moscow Mule, made with house-made ginger beer, local Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers gin
Lock Street Brewing
Truth be told this is one of my favourite places in all of Niagara! Located in the heart of Port Dalhousie, Lock Street Brewing has a great local history dating back to 1824 when the First Welland Canal was starting to take shape. Today, it keeps on upgrading to meet the needs of a growing city, Lock Street Brewing is the best place to be this summer. You’ll definitely catch me here more than once…a week.
Lounge Six Parkway Skybar
Another St. Catharines hot spot located on the sixth floor of the Holiday Inn is the modern and luxurious Lounge Six Parkway Skybar. With signature cocktails and appetizers made new for this patio season, guests and visitors and enjoy the menu and beautiful view of the Niagara region.
Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery
Look no further than Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery, one of the finest wineries in Niagara as it offers a beautiful outdoor experience and stellar wine selections and amazing wood oven pizza that will have you visiting this estate more than once this summer.
Shaw Cafe & Wine Bar
With a European inspired menu, Shaw Cafe & Wine Bar provides a unique atmosphere from beautiful landscaping both on the terrace and off as the view from the patio gives you a perfect seat to watch the world go by in Niagara-On-The-Lake.
Niagara is home to some of the best restaurants and patios in Ontario, with a rich history and luxurious properties within and outside of the vineyards. Make sure to stop into one of these amazing patios during the summer to experience the breathtaking landscape of the Niagara region and why I love this region so much, perhaps you’ll one me on your next visit!
